This is easily the most number of times we've visited the allotment in Winter. Over the past week it's just been getting warmer and warmer. We've done pretty much all we can plant wise so we've been spending time tidying up and moving things round.
By 1:00PM today the temperature had risen to 25*C. It should be about 6*C to 9*C this time of year.
We tidied up the area round by the compost bins and moved the bricks into a neater pile.
The storage box looks neater with the old wood moved round next to the bench/seating area.
We pruned and cut back the vine quite severely but it certainly looks neater. If we keep trimming it properly we might actually get some decent grapes this year - if we have a summer to match the winter!
We finally gave up on the clematis that had been by the artichokes. It's completely dead, though we've no idea why or how.
The daffodils look nice this year.
