As for the plants themselves, the Artichoke and Comfrey are looking good.
The "Wild flower" bed is also looking colourful.
As is the rhubarb.
The mange-tout and broad beans are also doing well.
The potatoes, too, have suddenly shot up in this variable weather.
Onions haven't yet fully established but they look okay.
The parsnips have been covered over.
French Beans have been planted at the base of a "wigwam" of 8ft garden canes.
We're already cutting enough asparagus for Sunday lunch.
Wallflowers have now almost finished. Still some colour though.
Finally, before we left, I improvised a couple of "bird-baths" as we have a robin visiting. Purely on his terms for anything that's going.
The first is literally just a plastic bag placed in an indentation in the ground.
The second "water feature!!" is just an upturned water-butt lid.
