Today we weeded the tomato bed ready for plants next week.
It took less than an hour to put the tomato supports up. They worked well last year but unfortunately blight devastated the crop.
Unfortunately the wallflowers are now way past their best, so it's the compost heap for them.
Potatoes are showing through now. They need covering over really.
The onions are doing well.
The comfrey is starting to flower and attract the bees.
The artichokes are looking superb since we moved them to the bottom bed a couple of years ago.
The alliums in the wild flower bed are looking good.
The parsnips, under netting, are doing well.
Before we left we picked some more asparagus. At the moment we seem to be getting loads of asparagus each time we come down.
