So, at around 8:00AM this morning we went down the allotment with several rubble sacks and large trugs and filled them with decent soil/compost so that we can at least grow some vegetables in pots in the back garden should the situation become even worse, as is happening in some other European countries.
While we were down there we picked the rest of the leeks and emptied the shed of anything we thought we might need or be useful. Then, we took a load of photo's so that we can compare what the allotments like now with what it's like when we get to return; whenever that might be.
