Below is the compost and spare wood and bricks area.
Shallots are doing well.
The recently purchased gooseberry plant is finally shooting from the base.
In the same bed as the gooseberry (above) are the two rose cuttings we took last year. I think this bed has become the "nursery" bed by default.
The potatoes in the top bed are coming through nicely.
Onions too are doing alright.
Mange-tout............
The rhubarb never seems to fail.
The "wild flower" bed has self-seeded nicely and the comfrey is taking over the bottom bed.
The artichokes have recovered from the appalling late winter weather.
The trees and shrubs up against the cemetery wall are thriving. I wonder if the gojiberry will last the course this year.
While we were at it we tidied the "eating area".
The blueberry in the bath near the compost area is doing okay, though it probably needs a feed and water.
The upper fruit cage, where we planted another gooseberry bush today, is looking nice.
