Day off today as working Saturday so went down primarily to screw wooden boards against the scaffolding boards on the fruit cage to secure the netting.
Also decided to feed some of the plants with a comfrey feed, even though they've had more water in the last fortnight than a tropical rain-forest gets in a year!
I noticed in the neat comfrey feed there were hundreds of tiny swimming tadpole like creatures; only smaller than tadpoles. I looked it up and several websites claimed they were mosquito larvae. See below.
One website said they might be gnat larvae - see below.
Anyway, I don't suppose they can last long out of water on the soil.
