Warmest day of the year so far, Managed to get some more compost out of the hole; nearly reached Australia.
Whilst weeding one of the beds we came across a self-seeded Buddleia so I've re-planted it up against the church wall.
While I was at it I also transplanted the self-seeded Oak Tree that I'd been growing in a pot. Put it a couple of feet from the Buddleia.
Very roughly laid out a new bed down in the dry bit under the fir trees, near the church wall. Hopefully we'll be able to get some decent wood to do it properly.
Did a bit of general weeding too.
The long top bed has had a covering of cardboard over winter so we removed about a third of it to see what the soil underneath was like. It looks like it's kept the weeds down.
Tidied up the potted fern.
Also tidied up the area around the Clematis and Artichokes.
Plum blossom is coming out now the sun's arrived and everywhere is heating up.
Rhubarb has also taken a liking to the warmer weather and is shooting like mad.
