Well, we're into May now and the ground is still freezing with a possible frost forecast tomorrow night, following half a day of rain to add insult to injury.
Finally though, the forecast looks good midweek onwards with the May Bank Holiday possibly reaching the low twenties centigrade.
With the rain forecast overnight tonight we came down to spread chicken pellets over a couple of beds so that they're washed in overnight.
The oak tree I planted by the wall has shot up so it obviously prefers where it is now to the pot it used to be in.
We've had the Goji Berry for three years now and it hasn't really done a lot. So we've moved it out of the top fruit cage with a view to moving it next to the cemetery wall
The Clematis Montana we planted in the comfrey bed is also thriving. Several more flowers have appeared.
